Deion Sanders Reacts to Message From Hall-of-Fame NBA Coach

In this story:
Former Denver Nuggets coach George Karl defended Colorado Football coach Deion Sanders from what Oregon Ducks head coach Dan Lanning had to say about the Buffaloes. Going viral for his comments about Colorado chasing clicks over wins, Lanning received a lot of backlash, including from Hall-of-Fame basketball coach George Karl.
Reacting to the message Karl shared on Twitter, Sanders shared this response:
Love ya man and GOD BLESS U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://t.co/3kgqC9aLWx
— COACH PRIME (@DeionSanders) September 25, 2023
Karl is one of several prominent sports figures who came to the defense of Sanders, as so many felt the comments from Lanning were out of line. While the Buffaloes have generated a lot of media coverage, this has primarily been a result of their impressive start. Already surpassing their win total from last season, Colorado has been an incredible story, even with their blowout loss to the Ducks on Saturday.
The Buffaloes have a lot to learn from their blowout loss to Oregon, but this is a group that feels ready to bounce back. Their next game won't be any easier, going up against USC, but Sanders will have his team locked in for another game as the underdogs.
As for Lanning's comments, they dominated the news cycle for much of Saturday, but George Karl believes people have now moved on from thinking about him. Still tuned in for Sanders and the Buffaloes, Karl and others will be ready or Colorado's next game.
