An All-NBA star in 2017 with the Boston Celtics, Isaiah Thomas has been unable to regain his footing in the league since that special season. Injuries have undoubtedly played a factor in this development for Thomas, as the two-time All-Star has not played more than 40 games in a season since that 2017 campaign.

Not yet ready to walk away from basketball, Thomas is still attempting a comeback. A recent Tweet from former NBA guard Jamal Crawford revealed that Thomas has a private workout set up in Las Vegas in front of multiple NBA teams:

Thomas has spent time with the Sacramento Kings, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets, New Orleans Pelicans, and Dallas Mavericks.

As previously mentioned, injuries quickly derailed what was an incredible peak for Thomas in 2017. Averaging 28.9 PPG, the 5'9" guard was truly unstoppable for the Celtics that year. Thomas was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers following his special run in Boston, and played just 15 games for Cleveland before really beginning his journey around the league.

At 34 years old, Thomas may not be able to provide an NBA team with many impactful minutes at this stage; however, he could be a great locker room veteran and depth piece. If he impresses during this upcoming workout, perhaps a team will give him another shot.
