Jamal Murray Makes NBA Finals History in Game 4 vs. Heat

The Denver Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, and they did it behind big nights from Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon. While Jamal Murray didn't have the same scoring night that fans have grown used to seeing him have, the Nuggets point guard made NBA history with his passing, becoming the first player ever with at least 10 assists in their first four career Finals games.

Murray has been doing everything for the Nuggets in this playoff run, and has continued that in the NBA Finals. While Jokic has understandably received most of the publicity during this run, his co-star Murray has been every bit of a superstar in his own way, which is a massive reason the Nuggets are now one win away from being crowned NBA champions.

While Murray does not have the same career accolades that other star guards in the NBA have, his playoff resume is quickly becoming one of the best. Should the Nuggets secure this title, Murray will not only have a championship, but he will have multiple signature playoff runs. Regularly elevating his game in the postseason, Murray has reached even greater heights this year, and added another bit of NBA history to his resume with his Game 4 performance.

One win away from being crowned champs, the Nuggets can close this out at home in Game 5.
