Lakers Legend Takes Hilarious Jab at Nikola Jokic

In this story:
Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has been going viral again for his latest party video in his hometown of Sombor, Serbia. Seen dancing and singing at a summer party, Jokic was enjoying himself as the NBA offseason approaches its final month. Not quite the dancer that he is basketball player, Jokic received a hilarious jab from Los Angeles Lakers legend Lamar Odom for his dance moves:
My man plays ball like a brotha, but he sure don’t dance like one! https://t.co/MsKA8ejLxC
— LAMAR ODOM (@LamarOdom) August 26, 2023
This was a very funny jab from Odom, who clearly has a lot of respect for what Jokic can do on the court, but is less than impressed by his dance moves. Odom had a very solid NBA career, winning two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, and a 6th Man of the Year award in 2011.
The end of Odom's career just missed the beginning of Jokic's, as Odom's final season came in 2013 with the LA Clippers, while Jokic debuted in 2015 with the Nuggets. It's been a lot of fun to see Jokic let loose a bit this summer, even if his dance moves aren't as great as his ability on the basketball court.
Always stoic, even amidst his historical play, Jokic has allowed himself to have some fun after winning his first NBA championship and Finals MVP award. It's been a much deserved offseason of fun for Jokic, who will look to repeat with his Nuggets teammates next season.
