NBA analyst Nick Wright has been one of the most consistent Nikola Jokic critics over the last several years. While Wright never felt Jokic was a bad player, or even less than a star, he felt the hype was premature. Wright has since admitted he was wrong about that, and sent a message to Nuggets fans during a recent segment of his show.

"My general gripe was, I felt Nikola Jokic was a very, very good player who was being treated like an all-time legend. I was wrong. He's an all-time legend. That's where I was wrong... I was late to the train. I will concede that point. People saw it in a way I didn't see it. I never thought he stunk, I never thought he was a fraud, I never thought any of that... Denver folks can be as mad at me as they want. You guys were right and I was wrong on him. He's an all-time great player."

This was cool to hear from Wright, because while he understandably haw a lot of haters in Denver, he addressed those people and said they can be as mad at him as they want to be. Admitting he was wrong, Wright now recognizes Jokic as the all-time great player that he is, and made that clear to Nuggets fans in this segment.
