While Nikola Jokic now has this perception that he does not care much about basketball, it's clear the Denver Nuggets star has a deep relationship with the game. Jokic's comments during his historic postseason run often suggested basketball was more of a job than anything else, even joking that he wanted to go home instead of to the championship parade, but the reigning Finals MVP loves the game.

While there may have been some truth to these comments from Jokic, it's reasonable to assume he was being playful a lot of the time, because he truly does love the game of basketball.
