Nuggets Champion Reacts to Joining New Team

In this story:
Denver Nuggets champion Bruce Brown signed with the Indiana Pacers this summer, and spoke to reporters at media day about why he decided to sign there.
"A very young team, and the way they play," Brown said. "Just get out in transition. I'm a transition scorer. Tyrese [Haliburton] is a great passer, he'll find everyone. They want to win, and I've won at the highest level, so I'm just trying come in and help."
Brown said a lot pf Pacers players have been picking his brain about what it's like to play in the NBA Finals and win a championship. Having been a key piece to Denver's title run, Brown knows what it takes to win at the highest level, and is excited to bring that to Indiana where he believes a very solid foundation is being built.
While the Pacers are a few pieces away from being able to make some noise in the Eastern Conference, adding a player like Brown is a step in the right direction. A winning player, Brown understands what it takes to win a championship, which is something this Pacers group hopes to accomplish at some point.
The Nuggets will certainly miss Brown, but they knew they wouldn't be able to re-sign him after the way he performed last season. Now with a new opportunity in Indiana, Brown is looking to take another step forward.
