In this story:

While fans get a glimpse of Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic, there is so much more to the reigning Finals MVP that fans do not see. Speaking exclusively with Inside the Warriors to reveal his new partnership with Starry and KFC, Nuggets star Jamal Murray was also asked if he could reveal something fans don't know about Jokic, and said the following:

"He’s a winner," Murray said. "He's unselfish, and not a lot of teams have a superstar like that, that can go get his own bucket, but wants to pass the ball so much to make everybody better and make everybody happy. That means a lot. That's contagious, as well. I think that's probably the biggest thing... When you see it up close in person, he just makes everybody better, and he's a great leader even though he's quiet and doesn't do a lot of talking. He's a great leader, and gets us to where we need to be."

That last part from Murray is what fans really don't get to see. While Jokic is not a loud guy, he is very much a leader for the Denver Nuggets, and Murray was able to speak on that. While Jokic's leadership style may look different from other NBA stars, it's clearly effective for a Nuggets team that often goes as he goes.
