The Ringer releases top 100 NBA players for 2023-24 with three Indiana Pacers ranked

The Pacers consistently have the same three players ranked in top 100 lists

The Ringer updated their top 100 NBA players list this week ahead of the 2023-24 season. It's their list of the most impactful players in the association, and it is frequently updated.

After a dominant 2023 playoffs, Nikola Jokic sits at the top with Giannis Antetokounmpo right behind him. And three Indiana Pacers players are listed, too, which is similar to other top-100 lists around the web.

Bruce Brown, Indiana's big addition in the offseason, is the lowest rated Pacer. He comes in at the 94th spot, a two-player jump from 2022-23.

The versatile wing can help the Pacers in many ways, but his biggest asset to the team is that he is a positive on both ends of the court. He can fit in essentially any lineup, and that will make him a boon for the developing group.

Next up for the blue and gold is Myles Turner, who slots in at 65. He actually dropped two spots from number 63 last year, which is surprising after a career year.

Indiana's veteran big man averaged a career-high in points (18.0), rebounds (7.5), and efficiency (65.1% true shooting) last season. His defense wasn't as impactful, but he became vital to Indiana's success. When the Pacers had both Tyrese Haliburton and Turner available, they went 26-22 last year.

The big man is hoping to take a step forward as a leader this year. His frontcourt partnership with Obi Toppin will be an important storyline for the blue and gold this season.

Speaking of Haliburton, The Ringer ranked him higher than any other Pacer at 23rd in their top 100. It's a nine-spot jump from last season — The Ringer had Haliburton 32nd last season, they were higher on the young guard than other outlets.

That proved to be smart as the Pacers point guard had a breakout year in 2022-23. He was named an All-Star for the first time and averaged over 20 points and 10 assists per game. His combination of shooting, passing, and scoring is essentially unmatched around the league.

This year, the 23-year old could take another step forward. He hopes to be a better defender, and it's important to him that he's able to make his teammates better. He could be crucial in Toppin and Bennedict Mathurin having big seasons.

Haliburton just made his preseason debut earlier this week and didn't look like he missed a beat. He will hope to make another jump into the All-NBA ranks this season — if he does, he will earn more money on his next contract.
