Indiana Pacers vs Charlotte Hornets preview: Start time, where to watch, injury report, betting odds February 12

The Pacers are in Charlotte tonight

The Indiana Pacers will wrap up their season series with the Charlotte Hornets tonight when the two teams square off in North Carolina. The Pacers won two of the previous three meetings.

Both teams made multiple trades last week ahead of the NBA trade deadline and look different than they did in their last meeting. Indiana added Doug McDermott and is 6-4 in their last 10 games while Charlotte shook up much of its roster and is 1-9 in their last 10 outings.

Pacers vs Hornets Injury Report

The Pacers listed Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring injury management) as questionable. Jarace Walker (G League assignment) is also questionable, as are Isaiah Wong, Oscar Tshiebwe, and Kendall Brown due to their status on two-way contracts. Jalen Smith (lower back spasms) is out.

The Hornets listed Cody Martin as probable. LaMelo Ball, Kyle Lowry, and Mark Williams are out.

Key Matchup

Aaron Nesmith vs Miles Bridges: When the Pacers and Hornets battled earlier this month, Bridges scored 19 points. That is an anomaly given his recent level. The young wing is averaging 24.2 points per game in his last 14 appearances, including reaching over 40 points twice in that span.

He is often among Charlotte's best offensive players, so Nesmith will need to do everything he can to slow Bridges down. Nesmith is a much improved offensive player and is shooting 44.4% from long range in February. He needs to limit Bridges while continuing to knock down outside shots if he wants to help Indiana earn a win.
