The Houston Rockets are looking to grab their longest win streak of the season tonight when the Brooklyn Nets come to town. A victory would mark three consecutive wins after beating the San Antonio Spurs twice over the weekend.

The Rockets' season-long two-game win streak is enough to push themselves up one spot in the latest edition of Sports Illustrated's power rankings. The team ranked at No. 29 last week but now sits at No. 28 ahead of the Detroit Pistons and Spurs.

"Houston ended its 11-game skid Saturday in San Antonio," SI writes. "Following a 14-point loss to the Grizzlies on Wednesday at home, the Rockets picked up a rare road win over the Spurs behind 20 points from rookie Tari Eason off the bench. They drew San Antonio again the next night at home and scored a season-high 142 points in a win, 31 of which Jalen Green accounted for."

After tonight's meeting with the Nets, the Rockets hit the road for a brief trip to face the Indiana Pacers. Then, a six-game homestand begins as the Chicago Bulls come to town on Saturday night.

With just 18 games left in the season, the Rockets are currently on pace to have the league's worst record for a third consecutive year, despite the power rankings not exactly reflecting that.
