Suns Reveal Starters Against Jazz

The Suns are set to roll out this group to start the game tonight

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns are embarking on a quest to get to 10 games over .500 tonight against the Utah Jazz - and came into it with the possibility of only having 8 rotational players available, plus the two-way players.

Chimezie Metu, Keita Bates-Diop, Yuta Watanabe, and Jordan Goodwin were all traded earlier in the day in a package for Brooklyn's Royce O'Neale and Memphis' David Roddy, while a pair of Suns stars came into the night listed as questionable.

Devin Booker was ruled out shortly before tip - was a late add to the report today due to hip soreness.

Bradley Beal was listed as available and is good to go despite carrying a questionable tag going into pre-game with a sprained ankle

Head coach Frank Vogel had to switch things up tonight, but Eric Gordon was ultimately the clear decision to start in place of the Suns' superstar.

The group Vogel went with:

Bradley Beal

Eric Gordon

Grayson Allen

Kevin Durant

Jusuf Nurkic

Expect to see a lot of Josh Okogie tonight - as the reinforcements in O'Neale and Roddy are obviously inactive tonight.

Utah head coach Will Hardy had to switch up his starting five - as the Jazz player Simone Fontecchio was traded to the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday.

Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton headline a scrappy Jazz squad that is coming into Phoenix looking to both snap a four-game home win streak for the Suns as well as continuing to push for the Western Conference play-in tournament after deciding to stand pat at the deadline outside of the aforementioned move.

Phoenix and Utah are set to tip off shortly. The game will be broadcast locally on AZ Family.
