Blecher Report is back at doing what they do best: interactive rankings.

B/R NBA writer Adam Fromal released his first updated top 50 players list for the first time this regular season.

Two members of the Phoenix Suns unsurprisingly were included in the list - but where were Kevin Durant and Devin Booker ultimately slotted at?

Booker ranked 27th behind the likes of players such as Kristaps Porzingis, Alperen Sengun, and rookie Chet Holmgren.

While the 27th spot seems extremely bold, Fromal acknowledges that the ranking is misleading:

"Congratulations to Devin Booker for earning the most misleading ranking of the bunch," he wrote.

"Injuries have limited the dynamic guard to just 11 appearances in 2023-24, which is a downright shame when he's coupling his tremendous scoring ability with the best passing display of his career to average 27.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.4 assists while slashing 47.2/39.7/93.3."

Booker was ranked ninth in the initial preseason rankings and is sure to find himself closer to nine than 27 come the end of the regular season.

His partner in crime in Durant fared much better, rising from eight to six at this juncture.

Fromal goes on to praise Durant for being on pace to become the first player to average 30 PPG in their age-35 season, and it appears as if the Slim Reaper isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

"Oh, and lest we forget: Durant is doing all this with an Achilles rupture in his medical history, an injury that has doomed nearly every career before his." - Fromal

Players that finished ahead of Durant were Tyrese Haliburton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic.
