"He's ready, He's ready to go, he's good" That's what Thunder guard Luguentz Dort has to say about Andre Roberson.  Roberson, who hasn't played for the Thunder since January of 2018, may get another shot with Oklahoma City when the season resumes on August 1st.

How much he plays and when is still a significant question, but Sam Presti says if Roberson can contribute, the Thunder will use him. "I think it's clear that if we're able to get him back, he's a winning player, so he will help us if we can... "But we also have to kind of ease our way into that to get the answers that you're asking."

Despite his absence from the court, Roberson is still an active part of the Thunder's roster. According to Dort, Roberson is more than willing to advise the Oklahoma City rookie.

"He told me a lot of advice, definitely." ..."Being able to guard and do that at a high level and we kind of work a little bit since we got back, but I just had a lot of advice from him."

Roberson, a former All-Defensive player, will have to earn his spot back from Dort, who's started 21 games for Oklahoma City. Were a situation to come up where Dort couldn't play, it's not hard to see Roberson getting the call over Terrance Ferguson.

Dort says it will be helpful to have another defensive stopper in the rotation. "We'll take anything we have." ... "He did it at a high level, and like he knows a lot about it, so to have him back will be really great for us."
