Aaron Wiggins Helps End OKC Thunder Losing Streak

In this story:
After dropping five straight games, the Oklahoma City Thunder matched up against the Utah Jazz, the same team that began the Thunder’s losing streak. The Thunder manhandled the Jazz, winning 130-103 to snap their losing streak.
Things were different for the Thunder this time around, as they were without All-Star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Gilgeous-Alexander missed four straight games, and all the games were losses. In the meantime, Jalen Williams saw an advanced role. His usage went up as the Thunder were down a 30 points per game scorer. This was the same tonight. Williams shot a solid 8-of-13 as he scored 20 points on the night. His impact was felt on both ends of the floor, too, as Williams stole the ball four times.
Speaking of making an impact on both ends, Lu Dort also put together a big game. He also added four steals, and he put together a solid offensive game, scoring 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting.
Isaiah Joe, doing what he does best, scored 17 points on five 3-pointers made. Josh Giddey scored 18 points on 8-of-17 shooting while racking up 13 assists to give him a big double-double. He got nine of his assists in the first half.
With arguably the biggest performance of the night, Aaron Wiggins scored 27 points off the bench. He shot 12-of-16 from the field and was constantly getting clean shot attempts at the rim. Aside from the big scoring, Wiggins brought effort and intensity on both ends of the floor in all of his minutes, supplying much needed energy to a team which had lost five straight games.
