One of the biggest questions coming into this season for the Oklahoma City Thunder is the health of Andre Roberson. Roberson ruptured his patellar tendon against the Pistons in January of the 2018 season.  Oklahoma City's defensive stopper has suffered multiple setbacks and hasn't seen the court since that fall in Detroit. General manager Sam Presti says it will be a "process" to get Roberson back in the rotation.

Roberson himself was reluctant to put a percentage on how healthy he is when asked during the Thunder's annual preseason media day.  At one point, Billy Donovan told the media that Dre was practicing with no restrictions, but as of tonight, Donovan did not know when Roberson would be ready to go.

It's worth noting that Roberson is in the final year of a contract that pays him just north of ten million dollars. It's also worth noting that Terrence Ferguson, Hamidou Diallo, and Darius Bazley are younger, cheaper, and are more significant offensive threats. A Thunder spokesperson said the team was being "very conservative" with Dre's minutes. So far, that equates to Roberson sitting out the entire preseason and no one having an answer as to when he will return.
