Injury Report, Updated Odds (12/11): Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Utah Jazz

Standing at 14-7 on the season, the Oklahoma City Thunder hosts the Utah Jazz in an attempt to further solidify their spot at No. 2 in the Western Conference. The Thunder has won three of its last four games. With a 7-3 record in their last ten games, they've been one of the more impressive teams to begin the season.

The Jazz is the No. 12 team in the Western Conference as they hold a 7-15 record. On top of that, they're 1-10 on the road as they travel to the Paycom Center for this matchup.

This game poses a big opportunity for the Thunder to solidify their position as the No. 2 team in the West.

Injury Report:

Thunder:

Luguentz Dort, OUT (Ankle)

Keyontae Johnson, OUT (G League)

Jazz:

Lauri Markkanen, OUT (Hamstring)

John Collins, Questionable (Illness)

Walker Kessler, OUT (Foot)

Josh Cristopher, OUT (G League)

Johnny Juzang, OUT (G League)

Brice Sensabaugh, OUT (G League)

Micah Potter, OUT (G League)

The Jazz injury report is incredible notable. Both Markkanen and Kessler being out is a tough blow for them, as they need Markkanen's scoring and Kessler's rim protection and defense.

With this, the Thunder's drive-heavy offensive scheme gets that much easier.

For the Thunder's side of things, missing Lu Dort hurts, but this is certainly a game that this shouldn't make a big impact. Cason Wallace should be able to get the start in his absence and provide a similar impact.

All-in-all, the injury report favors the Thunder in a game they already should be Abel to to take care of business in.

Updated Odds:

The Thunder is a 12.5-point favorite for obvious reasons. The Jazz are without two key contributors and potentially a third. Already struggling in road games, this one seems like one the Thunder can easily cover if they bring the energy early and jump on the Jazz.
