Playing in the last of three-straight games in Los Angeles in four total nights, the Oklahoma City Thunder were unable to capitalize to return to a .500 record, which they both earned and lost against the Clippers over the last two games.

In a 116-111 loss, the Thunder were unable to handle Anthony Davis, as he manhandled the Thunder and set the tone early.

The Thunder, though, were led by Josh Giddey. He pulled together an incredible statline with 27 points, 17 rebounds and seven assists. He shot 12-of-24 from the field and 2-of-6 on 3-pointers. He was aggressive with the ball, and it showed. He also finished as a plus-12 in plus-minus, which shows how impactful his stats were.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander joined Giddey in his efforts, as Gilgeous-Alexander also had 27 points, adding five rebounds and eight assists. He shot 9-of-22 from the field and 1-of-3 on 3-pointers. Like Giddey, Gilgeous-Alexander was a positive in the box score, having been a plus-2.

Outside of the main two, Lu Dort added some offense as with five made 3-pointers on eight total attempts, scoring 15 points on the night.
Jeremiah Robinson-Earl was the fourth leading scorer for the Thunder and brought some energy for the team. Shooting 5-of-5 from the field and 2-of-3 on 3-pointers, Robinson-Earl scored 14 points as he was one of the Thunders positives.

The four were the only double-figures scorers for the Thunder and, evidently, are the players that gave the Thunder a chance in a game where they just fell short.

Though the Thunder fell to 36-38, good for the tenth seed in the Western Conference, they look ahead to a week of basketball which should feature them as favorites in nearly every contest.
