Thunder Gameday: Closing Out Summer Against Spurs

Sunday marks the fifth and final game in Las Vegas for the Oklahoma City Thunder, as they take on the San Antonio Spurs. This will be the teams' eighth game of the summer overall including Salt Lake City.

Given both teams are out of the playoff race, the rosters could be interesting in this one. Don't expect many of the top players from either side to take the floor.

KEYS TO THE GAME:

Since it is the last game of the summer for both teams, the rotation could feature players looking for a last audition at earning a training camp invite around the league or even a two-way contract. Most prospects can sign with any team, not just the one they're playing for. With that in mind, the top players from both squads likely won't take the floor tonight, but individual futures are on the line.

For the Thunder specifically, keep an eye on Jared Butler and KJ Williams, who have been productive over the past few games and have stepped up as the roster thins out. Furthermore, guys like Caleb McConnell will be fighting for a two-way spot as each team has three to use this season.
