The NBA looks poised to return to action at the end of July, and has proposed a 22-team format with a playoff play-in that could see Ja Morant and the Grizzlies face off against Zion Williamson and the Pelicans. But will teams like the Lakers and the Bucks play as well after the long layoff?

Robin Lundberg: NBA is set for a return with a proposed 22 team format and a playoff play-in. For more, I'm joined by the fantasy executive Corey Parson, Corey. What's the most interesting thing about the NBA is return it and the format to you.

Corey Parson: I think how you shake out the final two playoff spots in both the Eastern and Western Conference is really going to be something that I think a lot of people are going to be interested in, because what they're doing when you put these teams in that you had Orlando and you have the Memphis Grizzlies, but the teams you've got playing and you have New Orleans, Portland, San Antonio, Sacramento, Phoenix and Washington getting that last spot. What I find interesting, the NBA being a brand of such a big entertainment. They want to set us up for a Western conference, one game play-in between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Memphis Grizzlies. Where you have two of the top stars in Ja Morant and Zion Williamson. So I think that would be something really electric to bring sports back and get it popping right away.

Robin Lundberg: That would definitely be a bonus. You know, what's really interesting to me is how the layoff affects these teams, right? Because we know when we last saw the Lakers, they looked great. Will they be able to get right back where they were? Will the Bucks be as good as they were when play stopped? I think this will be one of the most fascinating playoffs of all time, when you factor that in and when you factor in that the teams trying to make the playoffs, as you mentioned.

Corey Parson: And then when you look at it also when you talk about who's going to be able to come together and put their team together in this time, I look at coaching and I look at the guy like Billy Donovan with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Nick Nurse with the Toronto Raptors. And don't forget a team in that playoffs and that play-in: the San Antonio Spurs with Gregg Popovich.

Robin Lundberg: Corey, appreciate your time as.
