Speaking on WFAN, New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick addressed the situation of former Raven Ray Rice on Tuesday. Rice was cut by the team and suspended indefinitely by the NFL on Monday after video showed him striking his then-fiancée Janay Palmer.

“Honestly, I wouldn’t know what to tell Ray Rice right now. ...That situation is just so out of control," said Vick, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.

When asked if Rice should get another shot in the NFL, Vick said "I hope so."

On Tuesday, Rice told ESPN's Josina Anderson that he and his wife are "in good spirits" and that the two will continue to support each other. Janay Rice also broke her silence on Tuesday with an Instagram post, calling the situation a "horrible nightmare."

"No one knows the pain that [the] media & unwanted options from the public has caused my family," Janay Rice wrote.

Nike reportedly terminated its contract with the running back on Tuesday, and EA Sports will reportedly remove Rice from the video game Madden NFL 15.
