Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is reportedly expected to miss Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.

ESPN's Jeff Dickerson reports Jeffery will likely sit out the game, and the team hopes he will be back for their Week 5 game against the Chiefs in Kansas City.

Jeffery sat out Chicago's Week 2 loss to Arizona and last week's loss to Seattle, a game in which Chicago's offense failed to score a point. Earlier this week, reports indicated Jeffery was expected to play against Oakland.

Chicago (0–3) has also been without starting quarterback Jay Cutler, who was injured against the Cardinals and missed last week's game. Reports have indicated he is likely to sit out another week, as well.

In 2013 Jeffery caught 89 passes for 1,421 yards and seven touchdowns, with an average of 16 yards per catch. Last season, he registered 85 catches and 1,133 yards, while collecting 10 touchdown passes.
