San Diego Chargers open as favorites over Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football.

The fifth week of the 2015 NFL season comes to a close Monday evening as the San Diego Chargers host the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Chargers opened as a field goal favorite, but the line has climbed as high as four points at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The moneyline has the Chargers between -181 and -200, and the Steelers between +165 and +170.

This game marks Michael Vick’s second straight start for Pittsburgh in place of an injured Ben Roethlisberger. Last week, the Steelers lost 23–20 to the Baltimore Ravens, resulting in a push.

The Steelers were expecting suspended wide receiver Martavis Bryant back this week, but he suffered a knee injury in practice, and will not play. The team will also be without linebacker Ryan Shazier due to a shoulder injury.

The Chargers welcome back tight end Antonio Gates from a suspension. He will move back into the starting lineup ahead of Ladarius Green. Left guard Orlando Franklin is out, left tackle King Dunlap is doubtful, and center Chris Watt and right guard D.J. Fluker are both questionable.

The Chargers also listed wide receiver Malcom Floyd as questionable, and wide receiver Stevie Johnson as out.

The Steelers are 2–2 SU and 2-0-2 ATS through the first quarter of the season. They are 8–2 SU and 7–3 ATS in their last ten games against the Chargers according to the OddsShark NFL Database, and 4-1 ATS in the last five such games in San Diego.
