NFL Odds: Complete betting preview for Week 16 of the NFL season

A betting preview for Week 16 of the NFL season.

The second to last Sunday of the NFL season is almost here, so let's take look at the entire slate of games to help you build your bankroll for the postseason.

There are eight early games on Sunday afternoon, highlighted by an AFC East showdown between the Jets and the Patriots. The Patriots are 0–4–1 against the spread in their last five games against the Jets, and with New York fighting for their playoff lives we'll gladly scoop up the 3.5 points that are being offered at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Carolina visits Atlanta as the Panthers look to remain undefeated. The Panthers are a 7.5-point favorite and the Falcons have been abysmal since their hot start, posting an awful 1–9 ATS mark in their last 10 games.

To make matters worse, the Falcons are 0–5 straight up and against the spread in their last five games against their division according to the OddsShark NFL Database, so we’ll lay the 7.5 points with the Panthers on the road.

You may also want to grab Dallas +6 as they visit Buffalo to battle a Bills team that has clearly given up on their season. There is major turmoil in Buffalo right now and the Bills simply aren’t putting any effort in for head coach Rex Ryan.

The Bills are 1–4 SU in their last five games and we can easily see them dropping this contest.

The late slate features a huge NFC matchup as the Cardinals welcome the Packers to Arizona. Green Bay has won three games in a row and four of their last five, but their quality of competition has been extremely suspect.

The Packers are 2–9 SU and 3–8 ATS in their last 11 games as road underdogs, and we don’t see them keeping this game close against a quality Cardinals squad. Lay the 4.5 points with Arizona at home.

Sunday is capped off with an interesting NFC affair between the improved Vikings and the Giants, who are desperately trying to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Giants are 7–1 ATS in their last eight games against the NFC North division, and this has the makings of a game that is tight from start to finish.

We’ll grab the 5.5 points with the G-Men as we look to cap off a winning NFL Sunday.
