Titans re-sign running back Antonio Andrews to 1-year deal

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Tennessee Titans have re-signed running back Antonio Andrews to a one-year contract.

The Titans announced the deal Thursday before Andrews became an exclusive rights free agent on March 9.

He led the Titans last season with 520 yards rushing on 143 attempts and also ran for a team-high three touchdowns. He also caught 21 passes for 174 yards and threw a 41-yard TD pass to Marcus Mariota against the New York Jets. Andrews started 10 of 14 games last season.

An undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky in 2014, Andrews played in four games as a rookie.

The Titans have not had a running back rush for 100 yards in a game since December 2013 and are expected to look for more help at running back in free agency.
