Nathan Peterman replaces Tyrod Taylor and Twitter made a lot of J. Peterman 'Seinfeld' jokes
The Bills surprised the NFL world on Wednesday by announcing that quarterback Tyrod Taylor was going to the bench and Nathan Peterman would be the starter for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Peterman, who was a fifth-round pick out of Pitt in this year's draft, is not exactly a household name. However, Elaine Benes' boss and catalog guru, from Seinfeld, J. Peterman, is someone most TV viewers are familiar with. That led to Twitter making many references and jokes about the two Petermans.

I've considered writing all of our football content in the form of a Jay Peterman catalog in honor of this Bills decision— Drew Dinkmeyer (@DrewDinkmeyer) November 15, 2017

Can we agree that the pop culture reference for Bills QB Nate Peterman is Lawrence yelling "Hey Peter Man!" through the wall in Office Space, and *not* J. Peterman from Seinfeld?— bird law (@oldgoaliebro33) November 15, 2017
