Scott Hanson Handled Alarms Going Off During NFL RedZone Broadcast Like a True Pro

Every Sunday of the football season, NFL RedZone host Scott Hanson welcomes viewers with a promise—seven hours of commercial-free football.

Given the money football fans spend on RedZone, Hanson's words are a vow he takes seriously, and on Sunday, he proved it.

As the late window of games was coming to a close and Hanson was preparing to hand viewers off to their national broadcast stations to watch the final game of the afternoon end, alarms went off in the RedZone studio.

Despite the chaotic happenings, Hanson handled the situation like a true professional.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is a first in my 20-something year broadcasting career," Hanson told his audience. "We have an alarm going off in the studios of NFL RedZone right now. ... We are being told we have to evacuate the building. We do not know the nature of the emergency."

With the control room set to evacuate, Hanson told viewers that they would leave the Eagles-Bills game running until they could get back to the studio.

While it was a confusing few minutes, thankfully, the issue was eventually sorted out without too much drama, as Hanson informed his followers on social media shortly after the chaotic episode.

Let Hanson's cool under pressure attitude be a lesson to us all.
