DJ Reader Left Off of Top 10 Defensive Tackles List
CINCINNATI — Bengals defensive tackle DJ Reader was a game changer for Lou Anarumo's defense last season.
He had 43 tackles and two sacks, but disrupted countless plays and made a big difference in the postseason.
Despite his stellar play, Reader wasn't one of the 10 defensive tackles mentioned in ESPN's latest rankings. Instead, he was one of the players that "also received votes."
There were 14 defensive tackles mentioned (10 ranked, four honorable mentions) before the rankings got to the six players that also received votes.
Reader was in that category alongside Quinnen Williams, Christian Watkins, J.J. Watt, Calais Campbell and David Onyemata.
