Report: Arch Manning's Former OC Lands on Broncos Staff

In this story:
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton made an out-of-the-box addition to his staff, hiring Logan Kilgore as a quality control coach "with the passing game," Zach Barnett of FootballScoop.com reported Wednesday.
Kilgore, 32, is a relative newcomer to the coaching ranks, starting his career in 2021 as an offensive analyst for Arkansas State. He left the following year to become offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at Isidore Newman High School, working hand-in-hand with now-Texas prized recruit Arch Manning.
Under Kilgore's instruction, Manning — the grandson of Archie and nephew of Peyton and Eli — tallied 2,270 passing yards, 35 total touchdowns, and a personal-best 130.3 QB rating.
Kilgore committed to rejoining Arkansas State in December, this time as the Red Wolves' tight ends coach.
Kilgore himself played QB at Bakersfield College and Middle Tennessee State, previously holding the Blue Raiders' single-season passing yards record. The California native went undrafted in 2014 before having a cup of coffee with Payton's New Orleans Saints.
Cut a few months later, Kilgore would embark on a five-year run in the Canadian Football League, appearing in 43 games for the Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tiger Cats, and Edmonton Eskimos, respectively. He finished 177-of-288 for 1,927 yards, eight TDs, and 19 interceptions across that span.
Kilgore is the third Broncos assistant hired by Payton, who's also named Zach Strief as offensive line coach and Declan Doyle as TEs coach.
