In this story:

If you've never heard of "Scorigami" — an ultra-rare achievement that the Denver Broncos pulled off in Sunday's 29-12 victory over the Cleveland Browns — don't feel too bad.

Broncos head coach Sean Payton hadn't, either.

"Have I heard of a ‘gami’? No. Why? Is it unique? You’re saying there’s never been a score 29-12?” Payton responded upon being prompted during his post-game press conference.

Precisely, Coach. Denver's 17-point win versus Cleveland produced a tally never before charted in the annals of NFL time. According to those who track these things, it was the 1081st unique final score in the league's 103-year existence.

The Broncos' scoring started early against Cleveland, with running back Samaje Perine finding paydirt on the team's opening drive. They built a 14-0 lead in the second quarter following a short rushing touchdown by quarterback Russell Wilson. The Browns notched a pair of field goals prior to halftime.

After the break, Cleveland punched in its lone TD of the contest but failed on the two-point conversion. Denver would tack on a FG, giving them a 17-12 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.

Which is when the magic began. The Browns were blanked from the scoreboard while a Wilson TD toss to tight end Adam Trautman, another Wil Lutz FG, and a safety by defensive end Zach Allen all added up to form ... Scorigami.
