The Browns won't be needing any more gifts for Christmas after Amari Cooper's massive day in Houston.

Cooper gave the Browns everything they could wish for — and much, much more — in the Browns' blowout over the Houston Texans, which should soon propel the Browns to a 10-5 record this season and put them in position to clinch the playoffs with a win next Thursday against the Jets.

Cooper finished with 11 catches for 265 yards, which was the franchise record for the most ever recorded in a single game by a Browns receiver. Cooper surpassed the 261-yard performance from Josh Gordon in 2013 to claim the record.

Right from the start, it felt evident that Cooper was going to have a massive day — Joe Flacco's first completion of the afternoon went to Cooper for 53 yards, which gave him 1,000 receiving yards on the year and made him the first Browns receiver to ever post consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.

The highlights just kept on building from there, featuring multiple toe-tap catches from Cooper and several more beautiful passes from Flacco, who totaled over 300 passing yards for the third consecutive game for the first time in his 16-year career.

Perhaps no play was prettier than Cooper's toe-tap catch on this fourth-and-8 conversion in the third quarter.

It's a play that is symbolic of how the Browns' whole season has gone — a backup QB facing high pressure and completing a low-percentage throw to the most reliable receiver to keep things alive.

Flacco and Cooper were removed from the game for injury prevention after that touchdown with the Browns up by such a big margin, but they were both then inserted back into the game after the defense allowed 15 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.

That opened the door for Cooper to set the franchise record, and he did with this 13-yard completion from Flacco.
