How to Watch: Browns vs. Texans Wild Card NFL Playoffs
For just the third time in the expansion era of the franchise’s history, the Cleveland Browns are back in the playoffs.
Led by 38-year-old quarterback Joe Flacco, the Browns will face the Houston Texans on Saturday at NRG Stadium in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs in their first playoff appearance since 2020.
Cleveland cracked its playoff berth in Week 17 after defeating the New York Jets, and it did so despite battling through tremendous injury adversity throughout the season, losing key players such as Deshaun Watson, Nick Chubb, Jack Conklin, Jedrick Wills Jr., Dawand Jones, Grant Delpit and others to season-ending injuries.
Flacco, who was signed by the Browns in November and has become the best story in the NFL’s final month, has fueled Cleveland to wins his last four starts and will look to keep the Browns hot over the Texans, who have been fueled by a rising star in 22-year-old quarterback C.J. Stroud. The second overall pick in the 2023 draft, Stroud is the frontrunner to win Offensive Rookie of the Year and has led the Texans to wins in six of his last eight starts.

The matchup will be the first game to kick off the NFL playoffs, and the winner will find out who they play next in the Divisional Round after the completion of the Steelers-Bills game Sunday at 1 p.m. — the final AFC playoff game of the weekend.
