Bills' QB Josh Allen Took Responsibility for New Browns' OC Ken Dorsey's Firing

After Ken Dorsey's Week 10 firing in Buffalo, quarterback Josh Allen shared his thoughts on the situation, as some believed Dorsey was a scapegoat for the organization's struggles

The Buffalo Bills sat at 5-5 in Week 10 with their path to the playoffs looking very bleak.

While the Bills' offense was one of the top-5 groups in all of the league, Josh Allen was the league leader in turnovers and the team could not get out of its own way. When they were good, they were great. When they struggled, they really struggled.

Was it the quarterback or was it the play caller? Browns fans are wondering just that as they over analyze Dorsey joining the coaching staff as offensive coordinator. There are a lot of varying opinions as to who is really to blame for the Bills problems prior to Week 11. Whether the former Miami Hurricane was to problem or not, it wound up being his head on the chopping block.

From the outside looking in, the move seemed like a no-brainer at the time and wound up sparking a six-game win streak for Buffalo to end the season. Still there's a a lot of disagreement on whether or not Dorsey really was the problem.

Going back to the situation, Allen, who is one of the stars of the league, shared some reflective thoughts on the relationship he had with his former coach. After Dorsey was let go, Allen even took some responsibility for it.

"Without a doubt, and I take that (firing) very personally. It hurts a lot to see someone you care about go through a situation like that and to know that if I could have done more, if this offense could have done more, we wouldn't have had to do something like that."

In that particular interview, Allen would go on to say that his turnover issues were the reason why the team was struggling. And because of the team's struggles, Dorsey was fired and Joe Brady took the reigns as the team's OC.

As for the Browns, Dosrey's love for the "big play" could serve as a nice yin to perfect Kevin Stefanski's yang as they look to collectively get more from quarterback Deshaun Watson. Time will tell how the two will mesh but one thing is true, Dorsey has proven he can turn an offense up a notch, as Allen knows first hand.
