Browns Add Depth at Offensive line and Corner

In this story:
Following the Hall of Fame game, the Cleveland Browns continue to add depth across their roster as injuries have begun to take their toll. The team announced that they have signed offensive tackle Derrick Kelly and cornerback Gavin Heslop.
Derrick Kelly (6’ 5”, 320 lb) is in his second official season and played at Florida State in college. He originally signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2019 and has played in a total of seven games between the Saints and the New York Giants. He spent last season on the Saints practice squad and recently played in the XFL for the San Antonio Brahmas.
Heslop (6’ 0”, 195 lb) is in his second season and played in college at Stony Brook. He originally signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Heslop has appeared in three career games and has spent time on the practice squad for the Seahawks and Carolina Panthers.
These moves come on the heels of a flurry of moves made by the Cleveland Browns on Friday afternoon. The team waived both Daylen Baldwin and Thomas Graham with injury designations and waived three additional players including offensive tackle Hunter Thedford, punter Joseph Charlton, and running back Nate McCrary.
At the same time, the team also announced the signings of tight end Miller Forristall, linebacker Cam Bright and wide receiver Jalen Wayne to the roster. These signings will provide important depth as the team will make its way through a longer preseason due to playing in the Hall of Fame game.
