New Cleveland Browns safety Juan Thornhill has quickly figured out how fragile this fanbase's mindset can be and he wants no part of it.

Since arriving in Cleveland, the two-time Super Bowl champion has been a fount of unbridled enthusiasm. Thornhill has been all in since the moment he signed with the Cleveland Browns, getting a tattoo to celebrate his new team. He's made it a point to be outspoken as he intends to be a leader on defense, the team as a whole.

With so much success in his career thus far, it shouldn't be surprising that he's not accustomed to doubt. He's not interesting in accepting it now either. On the same day the trade for Za'Darius Smith became official, the latest in an offseason of big moves from the Browns, Thornhill took to twitter to address the fence sitters and doubters.

Between media that covers the team and their fans, there's a diverse mix of people and opinions. Some are excited about the Browns and can't wait for football to start while others are convinced this team is going to be a disaster no matter what they do. There's also a group in the middle that is waging a battle within themselves, hoping the team will prove it before getting totally invested.

Thornhill isn't waiting on them or anyone else.

From Thornhill's, there is plenty of reason to be excited about what the Browns are putting together. The Browns signed Dalvin Tomlinson, Ogbonnia Okoronkwo and Thornhill to open up free agency. They've acquired Elijah Moore in a trade and most recently signed Rodney McLeod and traded for Za'Darius Smith, who might be the best of that bunch. Okoronkwo is an ascending player while Moore still has to break out, but the other four are proven entities that should immediately improve the Browns.

Thornhill is likely speaking for a number of players in that building, but he's the one putting it out there publicly and putting it on himself to make it happen. He seems determined to get everyone on board with his incessant positivity and it just may work. It remains to be seen if Thornhill or this team deliver, but his confidence could become infectious for a fanbase that desperately wants this team to be great.
