Browns Practice in New White Helmets

In this story:
In what was the most important development of the day, your Cleveland Browns practiced for the first time in their new-look white alternate helmets on Thursday. The Browns are leaving nothing to chance on Monday night as they look to start a season 2-0 for the first time in an unbelievable thirty years. The last time it happened was in 1993.
It was actually something I was anticipating seeing at some point this week and posted this on X. Hours later I would not be disappointed when pictures from practice confirmed it.
Nothing else matters today besides whether or not the team is practicing in the white helmets. #DawgPound

Being prepared has been a staple of head coach Kevin Stefanski’s philosophy on leadership in his time here in Cleveland. Last season the team practiced with the white face masks prior to Deshaun Watson’s first ever start at Cleveland Browns stadium. It may seem like a really insignificant thing but it gives a glimpse into how every detail is being paid attention to.

The new alternate white helmets will be worn with the alternate throwbacks unveiled during the 75th anniversary season of 2021. The white helmet has now been added as an homage to the ones worn in that year of 1946. They will wear them on Monday night in Pittsburgh, as well as in week 6 against San Francisco and week 17 against the Jets.
If they play as good as they look in these we just may be in store for a show on Monday night. Be sure to have plenty of popcorn ready to go.
