The Cleveland Browns have filled the roster spot opened by releasing offensive tackle Desmond Harrison. They've brought in Ka'John Armstrong, formerly of the EMUs. Armstrong makes for an interesting prospect because he has the size and length to play tackle, but he could also be a factor at guard.

Armstrong is an explosive athlete, which is great for any position, but certainly helpful as it pertains to guard. He is tall enough to play tackle, but teams will also love his 35 1/4" arms.

None of his movement skills are notably good, but they also don't suggest he's physically incapable of playing either tackle or guard.

The timing for a player like Armstrong isn't ideal as he missed all of minicamp, but it's an opportunity to get another pretty athletic body that might be able to come in and prove to be an NFL caliber offensive lineman.

The EMUs have had a nice track record of producing really athletic prospects in recent years including Darius Jackson, Andrew Wylie and Patrick O'Connor, all currently on NFL rosters. Jackson is a running back for the Dallas Cowboys, Wylie plays guard for the Kansas City Chiefs and O'Connor is a defensive end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Browns had both Jackson and Wylie on their roster at various points as well, so they are familiar with the athletic prowess of the EMU prospects. Armstrong enters a very talented and crowded offensive line group with the Browns, but he's auditioning for the rest of the league as well.
