Packers reportedly shopping guard Lane Taylor. Could the Browns have interest?

According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, the Green Bay Packers may be attempting to trade or should they fail, ultimately release guard Lane Taylor as Elgton Jenkins, the team's second round pick this year, takes over his spot. The move would save the Packers $3.4M on the salary cap.
Obviously, this hits on a lot of notes that could be of interest to the Cleveland Browns and GM John Dorsey. Taylor is an offensive linemen that played for the Packers when Eliot Wolf and Alonzo Highsmith were part of their front office, was coached by Browns offensive line coach James Campen for years, has a ton of starting experience and he'll be 30 this year, so he's still got productive football in him.
The problem is that Taylor is a left guard. He does have experience at right guard and even tackle, but the overwhelming majority of his career has been on the left side. The Browns could still be interested in him and look at him as another possibility to play right guard, but it's not a situation where Taylor could simply be inserted into the starting lineup.
It might eliminate the possibility that the Browns would trade for him, but if he becomes a free agent and has his choice of teams, the Browns might have some appeal. It would take time for him to get acclimated, but he could do it and do it effectively before he then has to do it better than Eric Kush and Drew Forbes.
Chances are another team could use him as a left guard now, which makes far more sense for him, but if Dorsey decides he really wants him, he has the ability to offer more than a lot of teams do in terms of money and the prospect of playing for a team like the Browns and protecting Baker Mayfield could be attractive to Taylor.
There is one other possibility that could come with this, albeit an unlikely one. If the Browns make a move on Taylor and sign him to a multiple year deal, the Browns could move Joel Bitonio to left tackle in 2020 when Greg Robinson leaves in free agency and have Lane Taylor take over as the left guard. It's unlikely, but nevertheless possible.
