Moore Ruled Out, Shelby Harris to Practice for First Time in Philly

In this story:
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore has been ruled out for today’s joint practice session with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Head Coach Kevin Stefanski also said that Shelby Harris, the teams latest big acquisition, will practice with the team for the first time today. Stefanski elaborated further by saying, “Trying to get him some reps in our scheme over the next couple days and throughout the rest of the preseason. Just ramping him up for the season. "
Moore injured his ribs during Friday night’s preseason loss to the Washington Commanders. Moore took a handoff on a sweep around the left end on the games first drive for a gain of 18 yards before he was pushed out of bounds on the sideline by a Washington defender.
It appears that he may have landed with his ribs trapping the football, leaving the wind knocked out of him. While his rib injury was certainly painful it was later reported that X-rays taken during the game came back negative.
While he will be fine long term, he may still be in pain and rest is probably a good idea. For the Browns offense, the test just got a lot harder without their shifty playmaker. Watson and the offense will be forced to rely on other receivers in his absence. We can probably expect to see more Cedrick Tillman, David Bell and perhaps Austin Watkins Jr. in his place.
It is not yet been decided if he will practice tomorrow and may be solely dependent upon how the team fares today without him.
