NFL Network analyst, Adam Rank, raised quite the stir among fans of the Cleveland Browns after a recently aired segment on the Network. During the live hit, Rank plays the schedule game to determine what the teams record for the upcoming season will be. You can view the video below to see for yourself.

Understandably, many surprised fans and even players reacted to the absurd predictions made in the video. Despite predicting that the Browns will go 4-2 against what many believe to be the toughest division in the NFL, he has us finishing 6-11, when it’s all said and done.

His projection has us losing many games in which the Browns would be favored in if they were played today. Included in the loss column are losses to the Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears (who Rank is a fan of), and the Houston Texans.

For whatever flaws you think the Browns roster has, it’s hard to fathom expecting those teams to be better. I mean sure it is the NFL and anything can happen on any given Sunday but it is extremely difficult to see the Browns losing that many games barring injuries.

For Rank, who is considered a serious football analyst, it’s hard to imagine that he hasn’t paid attention to the additions that the Browns have made on both sides of the ball in the offseason. So when you look at motive you have to either conclude that he has a strong bias against the team for some reason or he knew he could get this kind of reaction and attention from a fan base as passionate as Browns fans.
