Schefter: "Browns' QB Watson Could Be Ready to Play as Soon as Next Sunday"

In this story:
What went from a mild concern after the Cleveland Browns defeated the Tennessee Titans in week four has turned into a three-week saga of Deshaun Watson's Shoulder injury.
The end may be near and Watson should be back on the field soon. According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Browns Signal Caller could be available "as soon as next Sunday against the Colts."
Deshaun Watson is dealing with a deep rotator cuff contusion that has made it difficult for him to drive the football when he throws, but there is a belief that the Browns’ QB could be ready to play as soon as next Sunday against the Colts, per sources.https://t.co/7v44ptd0Rp

The Browns were really starting to find their stride with Watson behind center. After an excruciating loss at Pittsburgh in week two, Watson played his best game as a Brown against the Tennessee Titans.
In that game, he completed 27-of-33 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns. He capped his day off with a 43-yard touchdown to Amari Cooper - their first touchdown connection in Cleveland.
It finally felt like he turned the corner and was getting back to his old form. At some point late in the contest, he took a hit that would linger and affect the Browns for the next month.
Since the Titans game in Week 3, Watson has been a game-time scratch against division rival Baltimore and was ruled out mid-week this week against the San Francisco 49ers. The organization, and Watson have been very tight-lipped about what is going on with the shoulder. Whether it is for competitive advantage or not, it has caused a frenzy in Browns' Nation.
According to Adam Schefter, Watson could return as early as next week against the Colts. Until we see number 4 behind center, this story will continue to develop.
