Watch: After a Week of Noise, Watson Responds With Play in Practice

In this story:
Much of the talk on social media and local Cleveland radio this past week has centered around the play of Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. Questions swirled toward the end of last week following the joint practice sessions against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Reports out of Philly varied widely with some saying that Watson was inaccurate and unable to get much going with the offensive unit. Additionally, the focus was on the interceptions that were thrown in practice.
Those hoping to start their Monday morning radio shows with their typical fear mongering are likely going to have to rewrite their talking points in regard to the Browns after Sunday's practice open to the media. According to multiple reports, Watson and the offense put on quite a show.
Whether or not Watson had or needed an additional motivation is still unknown. It will be interesting to see if he speaks with the media afterwards but it appears he let his play do the talking on the field.
Watson connected deep with star receiver Amari Cooper on multiple occasions.

All signs from today's practice point to Watson looking sharp as the offense produced many big plays. Let's see if the team can carry this momentum into the final preseason game against Kansas City on Saturday. It will be another opportunity for Watson and the offense to demonstrate what they have in store for this season.
