Opening NFL Odds Released for Buccaneers-Eagles Wild Card Game

The opening betting odds have been announced for the Buccaneers’ Wild Card matchup against the Eagles.

Despite being doubted since the onset of the season, the 2023 Tampa Bay Buccaneers overcame all odds by winning the NFC South and making the playoffs for the third consecutive season.

The Bucs started the season off hot and then slipped off throughout the middle of the season as they looked to find an identity on both sides of the ball. Eventually, things started to come together as they hit their stride at the right time finding consistency on the offensive side of the ball while being one of the best defenses in the NFL at creating turnovers.

Things have since cooled down since then, but with a 9-0 victory over the Carolina Panthers, they secured a spot in the playoffs and will now face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Super Wild Card Weekend for a chance to continue their goal of reaching a Super Bowl.

The Eagles have also looked like a completely different team since the two teams met in Week 3 earlier in the season that saw Tampa Bay get routed 25-11.

As with every matchup bookmakers and oddsmakers in Vegas release spreads and over/under lines prior to the matchup, and we now know what those will be for this weekend’s Monday Night Football playoff game in Raymond James Stadium.

Even though the Buccaneers are the home team they still will enter Sunday as the underdogs as the Eagles are 3-point favorites. The over/under is currently set at 44 as both offenses have found things hard to come by over the past couple of weeks.

Lines will always move as the week progresses and even up until kickoff. The Buccaneers are looking to get good value, so if you are a betting man or woman, be sure to pay close attention to injury updates and more as the game approaches.
