Turnovers, sacks doom Bucs in 37-26 London loss to Panthers

Despite bottling up Christian McCaffrey for the second time this season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dropped their home-away-from-home game against the Carolina Panthers in London.
Jameis Winston was picked off on the first play of the game, and then four more times as the Bucs turned the ball over seven times in total, falling to their NFC South Rivals 37-26.
Winston finished the day with 400 passing yards, but his truckload of turnovers proved to be too much for Tampa Bay to overcome. Winston also lost a fumble earlier in the game, while punt returner Bobo Wilson lost one of his two muffed kicks.
McCaffrey was held to just 57 total yards, but did find the end zone twice, once on the ground and once through the air.
Panthers quarterback Kyle Allen won his fourth consecutive start, continuing his impressive streak without an interception through his first four career starts. Allen continues to impress in relief of an injured Cam Newton, and may give the Panthers a tough decision to make when he returns to full strength.
The Bucs scored two of their touchdowns on the ground, but overall, struggled to run the ball effectively all game long. Peyton Barber led the team with just 28 yards rushing on eight carries, while Ronald Jones II and Dare Ogunbowale each found the end zone.
Chris Godwin continued his impressive start to the 2019 season, leading the Bucs with 151 yards on 10 receptions. Mike Evans followed up last week's catch-less performance with nine receptions for 96 yards, while Cameron Brate hauled in Winston's only touchdown pass.
Tampa Bay's injury-riddled offensive line struggled, giving up seven sacks after surrendering six the week before.
