Kyler Murray, Nick Bosa Swap Praise Ahead of Matchup

In this story:
ARIZONA -- Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is back on the field, and those around the league understand just how dangerous the former Heisman trophy winner can be when all cylinders are firing in the desert.
You can ask opponents. You can ask division rivals. You can even ask the guy drafted directly behind him.
San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa was taken with the No. 2 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and has blossomed into one of the premier players at his position. Being taken behind Murray and playing together in the NFC West will continue to draw comparison between the two sides.
Murray didn't play in Arizona's previous run-in with San Francisco, a 35-16 home victory for the 49ers back in Week 4.
Now healthy and fully operational, Bosa knows what Murray brings to the table.
"I think he looks great moving around. I think he's actually playing in this scheme better than the previous regime. He's kind of sitting in the pocket and playing quarterback more. And then obviously the run game and the scrambles -- he's an added element there," Bosa said (h/t All 49ers).
"Just a one-of-one type of athlete. Plays that you should have him bottled up, he'll score or get the first down. And he can play quarterback and sit in the pocket for a guy who's not as tall."
Murray himself praised Bosa when asked if the two had a rivalry:
“No. I respect Nick a lot. I love to go against great players. Us coming in together, I think that’s pretty cool. I think we both take pride in that. It’s a special deal to be in the NFL so to be able to go against these guys. We’ve both been in the same organization for a long time," Murray said.
"Hopefully, we’ll continue to be here even longer and go against each other for the rest of our time here. I wouldn’t say it’s rivalry though. I don’t look at it like that.”
The 49ers are playing some of the best football seen in the league at the moment, winners of their last five and could clinch the division with a win on Sunday.
Murray know what's ahead of Arizona's offense.
"Obviously, they’ve got great players all over the field. Rotating out D-linemen on the field. They’ve got a ton of guys over there, more than probably anybody in the league. And we know, since I got into the league it’s been like that," he said.
"I’m not going to say I’m used to it, but we’ve got to be ready for a war. I know they’re not going to come in here and take us lightly, especially after last game we played them pretty good, but like I said, man, it’s a great opportunity. You’re playing probably against the best defense in the league. For me, and for everybody on this offense we should go out there with a chip on our shoulder and go out there and be ready to execute.”
