Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is Sports Illustrated Cover Guy

FRISCO - Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is off to a hot start in every possible way. The numbers are big. The contract is about to be. And the exposure? Well, Dak is the cover guy this week here at Sports Illustrated.
Prescott so far this season has thrown for 674 yards and seven touchdowns through the first two weeks, and ranks as a top three QB in most categories.

He was honored as the NFC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 1 after achieving a perfect 158.3 quarterback rating in a blowout over the Giants. He was among the candidates to win the honor again in Week 2 after yet another decisive win over an NFC East foe, this time at Washington, but ithe award went to Seattle QB Russell Wilson instead.
That contract in excess of $30 million APY is coming, too, and in fact "money'' is the centerpiece of the article written by SI's Conor Orr, who was in DFW last week to research the piece.

This is the fifth time Prescott has been on the cover of the magazine. He was previously on the cover twice as a Cowboy and twice while he was at Mississippi State.
