Cowboys No. 1 In Cringy Fanbase Rankings

FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys have a long history of tradition and success. Over 63 seasons the club has enjoyed five Super Bowl wins in eight appearances, with the last victory famously coming after the 1995 season.

With success comes hate, and the Cowboys can boast plenty of haters. Their fans are often ridiculed and mocked, especially over the last 20 or so seasons when Dallas has not had the success it enjoyed through the 70s and 90s.

And now, NFL fans have spoken and placed Cowboys fans as the No. 1 most cringy fanbase.

Using a survey, the team at USBettingReport.com asked 2,000 NFL fans which team they believed to have the most cringe-inducing supporters.

The Dallas Cowboys take the top spot with 16.6 percent of the vote. The division-rival Philidelphia Eagles, losers of this year's Super Bowl, came in a distant second with 9.9 percent of the fan votes, while the Las Vegas Raiders took third with 8.6 percent.

The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs placed seventh but finished tops in local voting. Fan votes collected in the Kansas City area voted themselves as the most cringy fanbase.

While the Cowboys sit on top of the cringy fanbase mountain, the Los Angeles Chargers finished last with just .5 percent of votes.

With all the money Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spends on marketing, Dallas will most likely remain at the top of that mountain for a while, as fans either love the Cowboys or love to hate the Cowboys.

There don't seem to be many who are lukewarm and just indifferent to Dallas, and that's just the way Jones wants it.
