Deion Sanders Move to Dallas Cowboys? 'Coach Prime' Reveals The Only Way
"Prime Time'' has no time for the Dallas Cowboys or the rest of the NFL.
With controversy surrounding the Cowboys' head coaching spot, some have proposed that Prime take over the Pokes' lead headset. But Sanders, currently the man in charge at the University of Colorado Boulder, firmly expressed his commitment to the college game during an appearance on Robert Griffin III's podcast.

But this time he left the door ever so slightly ajar in his latest denial ... albeit with a proviso few, if any, teams would fully willing to comply with. The Buffaloes' boss fully anticipated pushback from Griffin, who vocally endorsed Sanders to succeed Mike McCarthy after Dallas' 48-32 shellacking in the NFC Wild Card round on Sunday afternoon.
"You need to give up on it," Sanders said on "RG3 and The Ones." "The only scenario you could come up with right now is to throw my kids in. That’s the only thing you can do, and I know that’s where you were going because I know you."
Sanders' illustrious playing career included five years with the Cowboys (1995-99), a stretch that opened a championship run in Super Bowl XXX. Pro/College Football Hall of Famer has since become one of the most prominent talking points on the amateur level thanks to his head coach endeavors at both Jackson State and Colorado.
Sanders has been flanked by his sons Shedeur and Shilo for each step of his collegiate journey. In their father's maiden voyage in Bouler, Shedeur threw for 27 touchdowns against three interceptions as the Buffaloes' primary quarterback while Shilo led the team in tackles at 70. While the Buffaloes showed drastic improvement from a single-win campaign in 2022, they failed to capitalize on a 3-0 start, going 1-8 the rest of the way.
In the second year of Sanders' reign, CU will return to the Big 12 for the 2024 college football season. The Buffaloes return to action on Aug. 31 against North Dakota State in Boulder.
