7:40 PT KC WINS IN OT: It’s a dynasty now. For the second year in a row, and for the third time in five years, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are your Super Bowl champions.

This one took OT, with Mahomes’ game-winning TD finishing up a 25-22 victory over the Niners, with Mahomes following up the throw with a mini-victory lap … capped by a sort of emotional collapse on the sideline in celebration.

7:19 OT! Patrick Mahomes just marched the Chiefs down the field to tie Super Bowl LVIII, 19-all … and we are going to OT.

On a key play, Mahomes hit Travis Kelce for 22 yards on third-and-7 to drive the Chiefs into 49ers territory. … with the Chiefs eventually to settle for a field goal from Harrison Butker with three seconds left … and now OT..

7:07 LAST CHANCE Patrick Mahomes Last Chance? His Chiefs are down 19-16 with just inside two minutes left as the Niners try to hang on in this Super Bowl in Las Vegas

6:25 TD KC A sloppy game, now featuring a punt muff by the Niners to set up the Chiefs’ only TD, has put KC up 13-10 with a few minutes left in the third quarter.

After the goof, Mahomes found MVS for a TD to maybe alter the momentum here.

4:17 MOODY FG We have the first score of the game …

And it is the Niners’ Jake Moody who sets a Super Bowl record with his 55-yard FG to make it 3-0 to open the second quarter.

Additionally the game has featured a pair of fumbles … the second one in the red zone with KC’s Pacheco the guilty party.

2:52 SWIFT MEETS ROGER She made it!

Taylor Swift jetted into Las Vegas just in time to support her Chiefs boyfriend Travis Kelce …

And to support commissioner Roger Goodell … who visited with the pop icon … surely with a thank you.

3:45 FUMBLE! The Chiefs were getting pushed around on the opening possession of the game, until …

FUMBLE! Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs take over now after the 49ers miscue. … a rare Christian McCaffrey fumble.

2:36 PT MAHOMES SPEECH It’s bring said that Travis Kelce’s Saturday night team speech moved the Chiefs to tears. ..

Now comes Patrick Mahomes’ turn about one hour before kickoff.

1:30 PT ANTHEM: On Sunday comes a "new tradition,'' as there will multiple national anthem performances at Allegiant Stadium.

Reba McEntire, the "Queen of Country," will be performing the "Star Spangled Banner." And Cowboys fan Post Malone will sing "America the Beautiful.'' But in addition to those pregame performances, Andra Day will perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing," which is known as "the Black national anthem.''

12:30 PT WE’RE HERE! ODDS: Where, When and How to Watch: Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas - Sunday, Feb. 11 at 5:30 p.m. CT on CBS. The Niners are favored by 2 ... and the over/under is 47.5 points.

Oh … and we made it!

12:05 PT QUINN'S REVENGE: Kyle Shanahan was the offensive coordinator on the Dan Quinn staff for the Falcons when Atlanta infamously blew a 28-3 lead and lost to Tom Brady's Patriots in a Super Bowl.

Quinn has now moved on from the Cowboys as the defensive coordinator has taken over as the head coach in Washington. Meanwhile, Shanahan is now the widely-respected coach of the 49ers team that takes on the Chiefs ... as he tries to bury any negative history.

"Narrative, good or bad, is just a narrative,'' Shanahan said. "I just don't want regrets. I just want to do everything that makes sense to myself, that makes sense for our team. And when you do that, that's what I have found.

"No matter how hard something is or good something is, you always keep perspective of what it really is. If you want your perspective to be someone else's narrative, good luck being happy in life. Or successful."

The 49ers are slight favorites heading into the game, and their task? Preventing the Chiefs from winning their third Super Bowl in five years, thus becoming a dynastic.

Quinn will be watching, presumably rooting for Shanahan and company.

Cowboys Nation will be watching, too, surely not rooting for anything 49ers-related.
