'Don't Wanna Comment!’ Does Micah Know Dallas’ Glaring Defensive Weakness?

After the Buffalo Bills undressed the Dallas Cowboys defense, Micah Parsons wasn't making any excuses.

The Cowboys are still reeling after a 31-10 beatdown by the Bills on Sunday afternoon in a chilly and wet Buffalo. Dallas dodged a bullet with unseasonably warm weather for mid-December in Western New York, but it couldn't dodge the loss.

Bills running back James Cook carved up the Dan Quinn defense for 179 yards on 25 carries, as the Buffalo gameplan was clear: Attack the Dallas run defense.

"I don't even really want to comment on what happened, to be honest," Cowboys “Lion-backer” Micah Parsons said.

In all, Buffalo gained 266 total yards on the ground against the Cowboys, the most the Cowboys have allowed since 2012. Granted, Dallas was without starting defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins who was sidelined with an ankle injury, and that probably contributed to the Bills' success running the ball.

"I mean, Hank's important, but it was everyone all across the board. I don't think it was just one individual, one particular thing. It was a group effort," Parsons added.

“A group effort”? And maybe “effort” in general?

The league may now have a recipe for beating the Cowboys after Sunday if it didn't already. Each of Dallas' four losses on the season came to teams who were at least No. 7 or better in rushing offense.

For everything the Cowboys defense does well, it is at times unable to stop a good run game. Dallas is 19th in the league in rushing yards allowed with 117.4 per contest. In those four losses, opponents have gained a combined 767 rushing yards.

Is there a quick fix? That's a question for defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, as the Cowboys now prepare to face the Dolphins and the Lions, Nos. 4 and 2 in the league respectively in rushing offense.

If Dallas hopes for a long playoff run and success against playoff teams, Parsons, Quinn and Co. need to find a solution. And fast.
